Tommy Andersen is Managing Partner at byFounders, a new early stage venture fund, founded by some of the most successful tech entrepreneurs in the Nordics and investing in the next generation of globally minded Nordic startups.
​
Being an ambitious tech serial entrepreneur, Tommy has successfully founded and exited three companies (the latest being Libratone) as well as built an extensive portfolio of angel investments individually and as part of Nordic Makers.
​
He furthermore serves as Chairman of the Danish Government’s Entrepreneurial Panel and mentors young startups at Danish Tech Challenge and the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship.

Scale-Up Denmark is an ambitious training concept for entrepreneurs and small enterprises. The aim is to establish an elite of high growth companies in Denmark.
Scale-Up Denmark is founded and funded by the five Danish Regions in partnership with the Danish Ministry of Business and Growth.
The Scale-Up Denmark initiative makes 8.5 bil. kr. in extra turnover for the participating companies and 2.426 extra jobs within the first 5 years after participation!
